Naturalist Guide: Bolivar Sanchez
Having grown up in the Galapagos Islands, Bolivar Sanchez developed a keen interest in wildlife and the outdoors at an early age. For the past 16 years he has worked as a certified naturalist guide in Galapagos National Park, sharing his knowledge of this unique place on earth with visitors to his homeland. This, combined with his sense of humor and warm personality, makes Boli the perfect person to reveal the secrets of Galapagos to you. Boli enjoys a variety of other outdoor pursuits including snorkeling, kayaking and hiking.
Group Leaders: Charles Crull and Maria Rosi
Charlie Crull’s travels have taken him to all 7 continents including Antarctica. He has visited some of the most remote places on earth including villages in the depths of the Peruvian Amazon, the lost Inca city of Machu Picchu, and the Galapagos Islands. Charlie is a 2004 graduate of the University of New Hampshire. He works in the Special Education department at Oyster River High School in Durham, New Hampshire where he is also the boys’ varsity soccer coach. Charlie’s other interests include music, woodworking, hiking, fishing and coaching youth soccer. Maria Rosi has traveled extensively throughout the USA, Canada and Europe with “Up With People”, an international student exchange and leadership program. She has worked with travel groups as large as 150 and most recently led a student cultural exchange group to Russia. Maria earned degrees from both Keene State College in 2002 and the University of New Hampshire in 2004. She teaches art at the high school level and loves bringing her travel experiences into the classroom for the benefit of her students. Her other interests include soccer, the outdoors and pottery. Charlie and Maria reside in Barrington, New Hampshire.
